The main character is an adult. H e look tall and skinny. He act mature. his name was Phil. the main problem is that Phil got shot and he died. It got solve because Dective Antonelli figured out that someone shot him. A t first they thought that it was David. David is a 12 year old boy. Phil is his stepfather. David had lied to the police and said he came home at 10:30. The police came to David house because some one had shot his stepfather it was at 2:00am. Dective Antonelli figured out that he really came home at 11:00 o'clock. The reason he said that was he home at 10:30 because he did not want to get in to trouble by his mom because is bedtime on weekend is to get home before 11:00.The police call his house and ask him before school come down to the police station.His mom was worried like she always is. When Phil got shot David mom keeps on crying a lot. When they got there they ask him some questions.before he got shot he saw it if he would of said They figuredout that a man shot him and took his money because Phil was just coming out the store and he was at the A T M machine.When Jamie was alive right before he die David got sent to his room for a time out ,but he snuck down stairsnand went to the upside down boat that was sitting on the sand and David mom was slepping on the dock and Jamie and phil was on a boat in the water and Jamie was in the water sitting and jumpping around in the boat. Phil told Jamie to stop and when Phil started the boat jamie fell in the water and Jamie did not know how to swim at all. When Jamie fell Phil. was just siting there watching like he did not care that woke up his mom and his mom told Phil to jump in the water and get him but he was just watching him so then his mom jumped then that is when Phil jumped after her and she could not find him and so she came up then Phil was down there looking but he was just swiming around and by the time they got him he died his mom tried to do mouth to mouth but he died.
